Cognato’s grapes come from the Coastal Region of South Africa, home to half of the country’s vineyards. This long-established area is well-known for high-quality wines from low yielding vineyards. All our growers from this region have been responsibly selected and are Fairtrade certified.

This flavourful red works well with meat dishes and tomato-based pastas, especially when served at a slightly cooler temperature.
